Born-and-raised in small town Maryland, now living in Los Angeles, California, Lady Ocean brandishes a unique style of dance music - one that knows no bounds. A classically trained pianist, violinist, and cellist, Lady Ocean taught herself how to produce music and DJ by the age of 14. She currently writes, produces, mixes, and engineers all of her own music. On a never-ending mission to revolutionize dance music, Lady Ocean draws upon her Persian heritage by fusing traditional Middle Eastern and South Asian sounds with modern stylings of deep house, future house, and bass music, to create a sonic identity uniquely her own.


Utilizing sound as the ultimate form of expression, Lady Ocean’s music is largely centered upon deep personal life experiences. Having been diagnosed with cancer at the age of 19, she turned to music as an outlet to tell her story and help overcome the obstacles presented to her in the wake of her diagnosis. Championing a message of perseverance in times of hardship, Lady Ocean’s heart shines through each powerful new release.


Lady Ocean’s music has been widely celebrated by the likes of KSHMR, Zedd, and Jake and Logan Paul, who have long used her music in their highly popular YouTube Vlogs. In a world of dissonance, Lady Ocean aspires to bring artistic harmony to people of all ethnicities, cultures, and ages through revolutionary sound.
